Vera Cunningham( (1897 – 1955)
Vera Cunningham was a painter, and theatre designer who, after a period at the Central, went on to exhibit in London and Paris reaching her first one woman show in 1929 at the Bloomsbury Gallery. Three further shows were mounted in Paris following the end of WWII.
A monograph was published in 1984 with a retrospective at the Barbican Art Gallery the following year.
